Inclusion Facilitator (K-12)

Job Description

The Inclusion Facilitator serves as a consultant, coach, and systems-change leader who supports schools and districts in creating and sustaining inclusive educational practices for students with disabilities. Working in partnership with administrators, educators, related service providers, Child Study Team members, paraprofessionals, students, and families, the Inclusion Facilitator helps build the capacity of school teams to implement evidence-based inclusive practices that improve student outcomes and increase access to meaningful participation in general education settings.

Through systemic change facilitation, technical assistance, professional learning, coaching, and consultation, the Inclusion Facilitator guides schools and districts in examining policies, practices, and structures that impact inclusion. Facilitators support educational teams in developing inclusive cultures, strengthening instructional practices, improving collaborative service delivery, and implementing sustainable systems that promote belonging and achievement for all learners.

The Inclusion Facilitator works primarily with schools participating in the New Jersey Inclusion Project and other ALL IN initiatives. This position requires regular travel to public schools throughout the North and Central regions of New Jersey, as well as occasional travel to ALL IN's office in Fairfield, New Jersey. Participation in organizational conferences, professional learning events, and team meetings is required. When not providing on-site support in schools, the position allows for remote work.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey certification as a teacher, administrator, educational services professional, behavior analyst, or related educational credential required.

  • Minimum of five years of successful experience in public education required.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with disabilities in inclusive educational settings.

  • Strong knowledge of special education law, inclusive education practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, collaborative teaching, and multi-tiered systems of support.

  • Experience providing professional development, coaching, consultation, or technical assistance to educators and school leaders preferred.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Commitment to inclusive education as a civil right and belief in the capacity of all students to learn and participate meaningfully in their school communities.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with all team members - skillful collaboration is a must!

  • Engage in systemic change facilitation with assigned schools

  • Deliver professional development both virtually and in-person on a range of topics related to best practices in education

  • Provide coaching and consultation to teams, administrators, and individuals

  • Utilize organization’s materials as prescribed

  • Maintain and update paperwork related to delivery of services

  • Lead and participate in Community of Practice meetings

  • Assist with new content development when requested

  • Foster connections with educators, administrators, and families

  • Attend organizational meetings when requested

Salary Range: Full-Time employment; $70,000-80,000 per year
