Join the Urban Collaborative
The Urban Collaborative is a national network of more than 100 school districts. These whose leaders are committed to increasing effective and inclusive special education services. They are also focused on and decreasing the disproportionality of culturally and linguistically diverse student populations in classification rates, separate educational environments, and disciplinary actions. Members of our professional learning community learn from and support each other to achieve these goals.

Meetings & Networking
Two semi-annual, members-only national meetings bring together leaders in special and general education to collaborate and learn from and with their colleagues, sharing resources, research, and ideas about what works and what needs to be improved in their districts. We invite external experts to join us to inspire and to share the most up-to-date research and thinking. Plus, members gain access to monthly virtual meetings to discuss and troubleshoot timely topics.

Our monthly e-newsletter is designed to share news and significant research with our member districts. We also use CollabNews to share UC activities and professional development opportunities.

Cost
Membership in the Urban Collaborative includes all district staff. Members have access to all resources. The cost of membership is determined by the size of the district.
