Join us for a year-long series of webinars designed to support inclusive education across New Jersey schools. Each academy includes 5 high-impact sessions focused on practical strategies, collaboration, and mindset shifts that lead to sustainable change.

All academies are free to join, and will be delivered via Zoom Webinar.

Better Together: Collaborative Practices for Inclusive Classrooms

Primary Audience: Educators & Admin

This is a five-session professional learning series designed for educators and administrators seeking to build stronger, more effective collaborative practices in inclusive classrooms. Participants will explore the foundations of co-teaching, specially designed instruction (SDI) within general education settings, strategic use of co-teaching models, and collaborative consultation and problem-solving across educational teams. The series moves beyond simply placing multiple adults in a classroom to examining how their expertise can be intentionally coordinated to increase access, participation, and meaningful learning for students with disabilities. Participants will leave with practical strategies, tools, and structures for strengthening collaborative instruction and sustaining effective inclusive practices over time.

Operationalizing IDEA & NJAC Chapter 14

Primary Audience: Admin & CST

The Operationalizing IDEA & NJAC Chapter 14 Academy is a five-session professional learning series designed for administrators and Child Study Team members seeking to strengthen the systems and practices that support both compliance and inclusive education. Moving from regulatory requirements to practical implementation, participants will explore IDEA and NJAC Chapter 14, LRE and IEP decision-making, high-quality IEP development and progress monitoring, transition planning, UDL and differentiation, and natural proportions scheduling. Throughout the series, participants will connect legal requirements to everyday systems, structures, and instructional practices, leaving with practical tools and strategies to build school and district capacity to effectively support students with disabilities.

Primary Audience: Educators & Admin

The Inclusive Instructional Practices: HLPs & HITs Academy is a five-session professional learning series designed for educators and administrators seeking to strengthen high-impact, evidence-based instructional practices in inclusive classrooms. Participants will build a shared foundation for effective instruction and progressively explore collaboration and co-teaching, explicit instruction and cognitive clarity, assessment and feedback, data-driven decision-making, and intensive intervention and tiered supports. Throughout the series, participants will connect High-Leverage Practices (HLPs) and High-Impact Teaching Strategies (HITs) to practical classroom application, developing strategies and tools that promote access, engagement, and meaningful learning for a wide range of learners.

Social Emotional Behavioral (SEB) Supports

Primary Audience: Educators & Admin

The Social Emotional Behavioral (SEB) Supports Academy is a five-session professional learning series designed for educators and administrators seeking practical, proactive approaches to supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Beginning with the PBIS framework and a multi-tiered approach to support, participants will explore universal classroom strategies, ways to reframe behavior as communication, and the role of executive function and self-regulation skills in student behavior. The series will also address effective responses to challenging behavior, strategies for avoiding power struggles, and strengths-based approaches for students who need additional layers of support. Throughout the academy, participants will develop practical tools and strategies for creating supportive learning environments that promote student regulation, engagement, and success.
