The Inclusive Para (TIP) Online Training Course is a flexible online training program offering up to 35 hours of self-paced learning designed to equip paraeducators with the skills to support all students in inclusive classrooms. Participants will explore the foundations of inclusive education, disability awareness, effective communication and collaboration, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), accommodations and modifications, strategies for motivating and engaging learners, and supporting social-emotional development. The program emphasizes practical, real-world applications, helping paras foster belonging, equity, and positive relationships while maintaining their own wellness.

What Participants Will Learn

• Foundations of Inclusive Education: Understand core principles, the role of paraprofessionals, and the importance of diversity and belonging.

• Disability Awareness & Support Strategies: Learn about various disabilities and practical approaches to differentiate instruction, support behavior, and collaborate with special educators.

• Effective Communication & Collaboration: Develop skills to work confidently with teachers, families, and school teams, including conflict resolution and active listening.

• Creating Inclusive Classrooms: Explore Universal Design for Learning (UDL), classroom organization, differentiation, and building positive student relationships.
