NJCIE now offers IEP Audit services for school districts. The IEP Audit can narrow the training topics that need to be addressed in professional development sessions, preserving time for meaningful professional dialogue and discussion that targets a district goal for improvement.

NJCIE is excited to announce that Timothy Rohrer is joining our team as a speaker and consultant for New Jersey schools. Tim will be available to speak at K-12 schools across the state for the 2020-21 school year either virtually or in-person.

In an initiative designed to address New Jersey’s high rate of special-education students placed in separate classes and separate schools, Montclair State University’s Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH) and the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education (NJCIE) have been funded with an $8 million, 5½-year grant through the New Jersey Department of Education’s (NJDOE) annual allocation of federal funds from the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
