Ruchika Chopra is the Co-Executive Director of the Urban Collaborative, a national professional learning community dedicated to equitable special education practices. In her current role, she creates opportunities for members to connect with research and foster cross-district collaboration. Previously, as Director of Inclusive Education for New York City’s District 75, she supported educators across NYC public schools in expanding access to high-quality, inclusive learning environments for students with significant disabilities. During her time in NYC, she helped schools translate inclusion research into daily classroom realities through professional learning and instructional coaching. Ruchika has taught elementary through high-school-aged students in both self-contained and inclusive classrooms.
